William Bartlett // Mini Epic

8:20am start, Saturday, April 23rd. Chilly but beautiful! Bluebird skies all day. Trail conditions were a little wet from the rain a week prior. Sticky and/or slippery in the shade, but not too much standing water. Sunny sections were completely dry. Compact hero dirt most of the way when it wasn't rocky. Ran 650bx48mm tubeless GravelKing SK+ @25p.s.i. (160lb bodyweight) Perfect for the chunky sections!

Lots of poison oak this time of year, so I highly recommend you bring poison oak wipes in case you crash into a thick mat of it like I did. You can buy them at REI. Wipe affected areas right after contact and it should greatly reduce a reaction.
