Katrina Feliciano // Mini Epic

It was tough finding parking near the start of the Mini Epic but after talking with a few locals, parking at City Hall was the best spot. Downtown Woodside is a quaint town and seemed like the center of the area with trafficked junctions. Ride started with a gradual climb up Cañada Road but the views on the bike path right next to the lake was amazing. Next up was riding through neighborhoods and graveling up and down mountains. I run a slick rear tire so I slid down the descends but was still safe. My favorite parts was the long ascend in the redwoods listening to the waterfalls of the river. And my ultimate favorite was the descending hairpin turns!! Was definitely an epic Bay Area gravel ride and can’t wait for next year!!
